The last 14 years Don has been travelling to South Asia, Middle East and Africa recruiting students, managing agents and all other stakeholders, multiple times a year.
In 2023 Switzerland, Italy, UK and Ireland have been on his work travel schedule, adding Spain and France from May 2024.

Presenting to a room of interested young persons the opportunities in this industry excites him, and by the level of investment in tourism and hospitality, real estate and hotels, across the world, Don believes a young person’s future, is “out there” waiting for them to invest in their education and skill development.

Liaison with Government agencies, recruitment bodies and all other stakeholders on a regular basis. Staff recruitment, agent training and implementation of efficient strategies cumulating in substantial savings and increase in quality student numbers.
Hotel School expansion plans into new international markets to increase overall numbers and specifically to establish a new major city Hotel School campus. Expanding from the domestic to international recruitment over 22 years.
International Travel for over 30 years including but not limited to India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, China (including Singapore), USA, UK, Ireland, Switzerland, France and Italy. Itinerary planning and personally booking most of these trips.
Career Counselling, as a 25 year plus professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia. (CDAA), Career Development, Internships, Placements are at the forefront of every conversation with a prospective student or future industry leaders. He was a previous Director of Studies and Head of Commerce and still holds teacher registration.
Property Development and Management, experience developed through tasks completed for Directors of a major property company (who build several of the Gold Coast, Australia early tourist high rises), on projects in Sydney, NSW Country and Melbourne.
